INTRODUCTION
In this topic, we are going to show you how to perform an easy liquid magnet experiment at home for your science project or exhibitions.
This homemade liquid magnet effect science experiment is done using materials like glass, water, magnet and some iron materials which is easily available at home at low cost. This experiments can be used for science fair projects.

How to make a liquid magnet project for school at home step by step video
In this video, we will show steps by step video instructions on how to build a liquid magnet at home easy way.
First, take a glass filled with water almost up to the brim and keep it on a flat surface and arrange other materials required for the experiment.
Those materials are basically magnet, safety pin, thin needle, and some iron pieces.
Next dip a thin nail into the glass of water, followed by the ring, other iron materials and in the last dip the safety pin.
Take multiple circular magnets and bring them closure to the outer surface of the glass of water and touch the glass.
You will observe that all the iron materials inside the glass of water will get attracted towards it and will stick to the inside surface of the glass of water at the bottom.
When using water all iron materials moved through the liquid to the magnet very quickly and this is because liquids provided very little resistance.
Now slowly move the magnet to the top of the glass and all the iron materials will move up with it too and they will get attached to the magnet once they are out of the water.

Questions & Answers on Liquid Magnet
1. Are there any magnetic liquids?
A liquid which becomes strongly magnetized in the presence of a magnetic field is called ferrofluid.
2. Is liquid metal magnetic?
Yes, liquid metal is magnetic.
3. Is ferrofluid toxic?
Ferrofluid has very low toxicity and hence used as a drug carrier.
Conclusions
The liquid magnet helps students to learn about liquid magnet as well as how to make it with easily available materials at home.
