This working model shows the effect of global warming and how greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide trap heat in Earth’s atmosphere.

When sunlight enters, some of it reflects back, but greenhouse gases trap most of the heat, raising the Earth’s temperature.
In this box, you can see how the trapped heat makes the area warmer, simulating the greenhouse effect.
Activities like burning fossil fuels, deforestation, and pollution increase these gases, causing climate change.
We must act now — plant more trees, reduce emissions, and switch to clean energy — to save Earth.”
Materials Required:
- Cardboard base (A3 or larger)
- Plastic box or clear bottle (to represent Earth’s atmosphere)
- Small globe or thermocol ball (Earth)
- Toy factories, cars, trees, sun cutout
- LED light (for sun heat)
- Cotton (for clouds), thermocol (ice)
- Color paper for messages (e.g., “Save Earth”)
- 9V battery, wires, and switch
- Optional: Two thermometers for comparing temperature (in greenhouse vs. open)
Model Making Video Steps:
1. Create the Base Layout:
- Use cardboard to make sections for:
- Green Earth: With trees, clean rivers, windmills.
- Polluted Earth: With factories, cars, dead trees.deforestation
2. Add the Greenhouse Chamber:
- Use a transparent plastic box as the Earth’s atmosphere.
- Place a small thermocol ball (Earth) inside.
- Install a yellow LED above it (representing sunlight).
- Optional: Use a thermometer inside to show increased temperature.
3. Add Comparison:
- On one side, leave Earth exposed to air (normal).
- On the other, keep it inside the box (with trapped heat).
- Add paper labels: “Greenhouse Effect”, “Global Warming”, “Save Earth”, “Climate Action”
