Smart city model school project for science exhibition

INTRODUCTION

In this topic, we are going to show you how to build a smart city model at home for your science project or exhibitions.

This science model is made up using materials like cardboard, white, color papers and hot glue gun which is easily available at home at low cost.

What is a Smart City?

Smart City is made up of Buildings(both residential and commercial) which are very efficient and uses less energy.

Also using the advanced technology powers such as LED bulbs, wind energy, solar energy which is clean and sustainable in nature.

Also uses the advanced electronics gadgets such as IoT(Internet of things) to collect data, to manage the assets efficiently.

Advantages of Smart City

  • Safe Environment
  • Transportation Optimized
  • Citizen and Government Collaborations
  • Higher Economy of Development
  • Reduced carbon footprints that help the environment
  • Efficient public utilities.

How to make smart city model for a school project at home step by step video?

First, take a rectangular shape box, apply fevicol and wrap it up with white color paper to form a building.

Make multiple red color small rectangular shapes to form windows of the building.

Using black color sketch pen form borders for the windows. Similarly, create multiple buildings with a solar panel attached to them.

Take a medium size rectangular shaped cardboard, cut it and wrap it with red color paper to form the roof of the building.

Similarly, create multiple color buildings.

Take cylindrical shape cardboard and wrap it with white paper. Now form a white color circle and stick it to the top of cylindrical shape.

Create small circular cardboard, apply fevicol and stick it with white color circular paper and create a central hole, on the other side stick three wings formed using white color paper to form a fan.

Take a small stick and insert at the central hole of the fan and to the cylindrical shape as shown in the video to form windmill. Similarly, create multiple wind mills.

Take large rectangular shape cardboard and color it with green and black colors as shown in the video. Create borders for the road and stick it with hot glue.

Now stick all the windmills in the first part of the rectangle, all the large buildings with solar panels in the second and third part of the rectangle.

Finally, place some plastic trees in the fourth part of the rectangle to complete the smart city.
