Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to connect 3 LEDs in parallel with a 9V battery, switch, and resistors

You Will Need:
- 3 × LEDs (3V, 20mA standard)
- 3 × Resistors (330Ω recommended)
- 1 × 9V Battery
- 1 × 9V Battery Clip
- 1 × SPST Switch
Circuit Overview:
Each LED gets:
- One resistor
- Parallel wiring: all LEDs share the same positive and negative power rails
Video Steps on Connection :
1. Connect the Switch:
- Connect one terminal of the switch to the +ve terminal of the 9V battery clip.
- The other switch terminal will go to the common +ve rail feeding all 3 LEDs.
2. Add Resistors to LEDs:
- For each LED, connect a 330Ω resistor to the anode (+ long leg) of the LED.
- Connect the other end of the resistor to the +ve rail coming from the switch.
3. Complete the LED Circuit:
- Connect the cathode (– short leg) of each LED to the common ground rail.
- Finally, connect the –ve terminal of the 9V battery to this common ground.
When the switch is ON, all 3 LEDs glow equally
You can add more LEDs by following the same pattern (each with its own resistor)
