INTRODUCTION
In this topic, we are going to show you how to build an earth layers model at home using waste recycled materials for your science project or exhibitions.
This homemade science project earth layer’s (internal structure of earth) model is done using materials like cardboard, papers, colors and hot glue gun which is easily available at home at low cost. This project can be used for the kids and students(primary and secondary schools)
Structure of the earth
Structure of the earth can be defined in two ways: mechanical properties or chemically.
Mechanically can be divided into:

- The crust of the earth
- The upper mantle of the earth
- Lower mantle of the earth

Each of these earth layers has its own properties, characteristics, and composition that affect many of the key processes of our planet
How to make a 3d model of the earth’s layer with paper at home step by step video
In this video, we will show steps by step video instructions on how to build earth layers at home easy way.
First cut the cardboard into circular shape and using fevicol paste blue color paper.
Next, take a green sheet and trace out various continents with a black sketch pen.
Cut various continents and stick in on to blue circle to form the earth.
Take a light blue paper and cut it into pentagon shape to form the crust of the earth layers.
Next an orange paper and cut it into pentagon shapes to form the upper mantle.
Next, take a light orange paper and cut it into pentagon shape to form the lower mantel.
Next, take a very light orange paper and cut into pentagon shape to form the outer core.
Finally, take a yellow paper and cut into pentagon shape to form the inner core of the layers of earth.
Now take the largest pentagon shape and start gluing them using fevicol from largest to smallest pentagon to form various layers of the earth.
Next paste them on to the blue earth which you have created initially.
Next take a large rectangular shape cardboard and paint it with black color.
Create multiple dots randomly on this black rectangular shape to form stars. Using hot glue gun stick the earth on to the rectangular shape.
Now label the various layers of the earth starting from outer layer to inner layer as Crust, upper mantle, lower mantle, outer core, and inner core.
