drip irrigation working model explanation in english during science exhibition

Drip irrigation is an efficient method of watering plants directly at their roots. Our working model demonstrates how this system works to save water and ensure plants get the right amount of water they need.

In this model, we have a water tank, pipes, and small drippers. The water tank represents a water source like a reservoir or borewell. Water flows from the tank through pipes, and small holes or drippers allow water to drop slowly near the roots of plants. This method reduces water wastage compared to traditional methods like sprinklers or flooding.

The pipes are arranged to cover the field or garden. Drip irrigation ensures each plant gets sufficient water without overwatering. It is especially helpful in areas with water scarcity, as it uses water efficiently.

Our model shows how this system can also be automated using timers or sensors to control water flow. Drip irrigation is widely used in agriculture and gardening, promoting sustainable farming and saving resources.

In this project, we aim to raise awareness about modern irrigation methods that conserve water and increase crop productivity. Thank you!
