In this post we write about making of kidney model with stand for science fair exhibition project using cardboard
Creating a model of two kidneys with a gallbladder using cardboard and color paper can be a great way to understand the anatomy of these organs and their location in the human body.
Let’s build a simple 3D model of the kidneys and gallbladder.
Materials needed:
- Cardboard (for the base and organ structures)
- Color paper (for representing organs and details)
- Scissors
- Glue or double-sided tape
- Marker pens or sketch pens
Step-by-step instructions:
- Base:
- Cut a rectangular or square piece of cardboard to serve as the base of the model.
- Kidney Structure:
- Draw the shape of a kidney on color paper. The kidney is a bean-shaped organ with a convex and concave side.
- Cut out two kidney shapes from the color paper to represent the two kidneys.
- Gallbladder Structure:
- Draw the shape of a gallbladder on color paper. The gallbladder is a small, pear-shaped organ.
- Cut out one gallbladder shape from the color paper.
- Color Paper Covering:
- Cover the kidney and gallbladder shapes with the appropriate color paper. Kidneys are reddish-brown, and the gallbladder is green or yellow.
- Cut the color paper to fit the organ shapes and attach it using glue or double-sided tape.
- Arrangement of Organs:
- Place the two kidney shapes side by side on the base to represent the two kidneys in the body.
- Position the gallbladder near the right kidney to show its location in the body.
- Labeling and Details:
- Use marker pens or sketch pens to label the organs accordingly (e.g., left kidney, right kidney, gallbladder).
- Add any other details you want to include, such as blood vessels or ureters connected to the kidneys.
- Decorating the Model:
- Use markers or color paper to decorate the organ model and add more details to make it visually appealing.
Now, you have a simple 3D model of two kidneys with a gallbladder made from cardboard and color paper. This model can be a helpful visual aid to learn about the anatomy of these organs and their positions in the human body.
