Resource management is about using natural and human-made resources efficiently to ensure they last longer and benefit everyone. For this science exhibition model, we show how proper resource management can save water, electricity, and materials. The model consists of three main sections: water conservation, energy efficiency, and recycling.
Water Conservation: This part features houses and factories with small pipes or syringes that collect wastewater. The water passes through a purification system (layers of gravel, sand, and cotton) and is reused for gardening or cleaning. It shows how we can reduce water wastage by treating and reusing water instead of throwing it away.
Energy Efficiency: A solar panel setup demonstrates how renewable energy sources like solar power can replace non-renewable ones like coal and oil. By using solar-powered lights and appliances, we reduce pollution and save resources for future generations.
Recycling: This part includes dustbins labeled for biodegradable, recyclable, and non-recyclable waste. The model illustrates how waste is sorted, collected, and sent to recycling factories to make new products. For example, plastic bottles are recycled into bags, and food waste turns into compost for plants.
This model uses simple materials like cardboard, color paper, and LED lights to show the concepts. The goal is to teach that small actions—like fixing leaks, using solar energy, and recycling waste—can make a big difference. Resource management not only conserves resources but also helps create a sustainable and cleaner environment for everyone. It’s a practical way to balance human needs with nature’s limits.
