How to make save earth save environment working model

This 3D model uses a large Earth ball at the center and showcases 5 key environmental protection themes around it. Each section visually shows what to do vs what not to do to help the Earth.

Materials Required:

  • 1 big plastic/styrofoam ball (for Earth) – paint it blue & green
  • Cardboard base (at least 2 ft x 2 ft)
  • Color paper / chart paper
  • Small toys or mini models (trees, fish, bin, etc.) or DIY from paper
  • Hot glue, scissors, markers, fevicol
  • Craft items: cotton, sand, plastic bottle caps, wires
  • Optional: Rotating stand or turntable (manual or motor-powered)

Video Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Make the Earth (Centerpiece):

  • Paint the big ball blue with green continents to represent Earth.
  • Place it at the center of your cardboard base using a stand or support.
  • Add a “Save Earth” flag or sign on top.

2. Divide the Base into 5 Sections Around Earth:

Use color tape or dividers to separate into pie-like sections:

1: Save Trees – Stop Deforestation

  • One side shows green forest, planting trees
  • Other side shows cut trees, barren land, smoke
  • Use toothpicks with green paper leaves as trees
  • Label: “Plant More Trees” / “Stop Cutting Trees”

2: Save Water – Prevent Water Wastage

  • Create a pond or tap using bottle caps
  • Show a leaking tap and dry ground on one side
  • Show a drip irrigation model or stored rainwater on the other
  • Label: “Save Every Drop” / “Fix Leaks” / “Harvest Rainwater”

3: Recycle Waste – Stop Pollution

  • Make two dustbins (green and blue) using paper cups
  • Show plastic bottles in landfill vs segregated and recycled
  • Add arrows showing waste going to a recycling factory model
  • Label: “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle”

4: Save Marine Life – Avoid Ocean Dumping

  • Use blue chart paper or plastic as sea
  • Add cotton/straw fish, boats
  • One side: clean sea with fish
  • Other side: plastic waste, dead fish, oil spill
  • Label: “Protect Oceans” / “Say No to Plastic”

5: Stop Pollution – Go Green

  • Make two mini scenes:
    • One with factory smoke, traffic (black cotton for smoke)
    • Other with solar panels, bicycle, greenery
  • Label: “Use Public Transport” / “Reduce Emissions”
